The Premier League made up a large 64% (6.79m minutes of 10.64m) of all soccer on TV last week.
Highlights/Lowlights:
• The PL is up through Week 17 YOY +7% on NBC
• Liga MX remains down -16% on Univision and -7% on Telemundo
• MLS is still in a TV valley on FOX. MLS has lost -20% of its audience from last year on the network.
• The NWSL holding steady-ish on ION, remaining in the 100s but I'm sensing the numbers slipping a bit.

Ooh! “Blogger” - I had one of these sites before I schlepped everything over to WordPress. But enough reminiscing…
I know nobody reads these so I can be candid. Your Highlights/Lowlights make perfect sense.
• PL is up because NBC is advertising same during other sporting events and during prime-time. I’d never thought I’d see that. Proof that if you live long enough you see everything.
• Anecdotally I haven’t seen an advertisement for MLS on Fox this year so this valley makes perfect sense. They don’t even brand it “Sunday night soccer” or any other basic branding for the broadcast. Once again MLS thinks they can act like NFL and get similar results.
• Being a North Carolina Courage fan I can bet what’s causing the dismal NWSL numbers. Last year they were on CBS Sports. If I wanted to watch the Courage or one of their rivals I could snap on CBS Sports and there they were. Now they are spread out everywhere and I need to do 10 minutes of research to find out if the Courage game is on CBS Sports, Prime Video (on Fridays), ESPN, ION, or NWSL+ which, confusingly, is not a premium service but a cost-free portion of the main NWSL web page. That’s 9 minutes longer than it should take.
